Yeah I find that it really depends on the Product or Service. I have setup up campaigns that just fly off the rack and other that are just really a pain to get to work. Strangely enough it's also campaign that you would never think would work well that really do well i.e campaigns for products where target market is not as active on-line.

I like breaking up my adwords adgroups into smaller more specific campaigns for each that offer me more control over the the amount I spend on each keyword. I find that South African adwords campaigns differ quiet considerably from other parts of the world and as such tips you find on-line don't always seem to work for SA campaigns.

I've also noticed these. A bit off the topic - is it just me or has AdWords got a great deal harder to set up campaigns and adgroups that work?

I keep getting problems to do with adgroups not working because of low search traffic! My guess is that it has to do with the number of keywords in a Adgroup, should rather have a couple keywords per Adgroup.

Just curious :)

Interesting idea, especially since the ads don't mess with the PageRank algorithm.

There are some clever people at Google.
